Batman Beyond #8

Part three of "Rise of the Demon" puts the pressure squarely on Batman Beyond, and Bernard Chang's cover captures that tension beautifully — the sleek black-and-red Batsuit dominates the foreground while a pair of snarling, monstrous figures loom ominously in the shadows behind him, two gleaming blades crossed at his chest. Dan Jurgens's DC Universe Rebirth run continues to push Terry McGinnis into increasingly dangerous territory, and this image makes clear the odds are stacking up fast. A sharp, atmospheric entry in the series for any fan of futuristic Dark Knight adventures.
