Batman and the Outsiders #23
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart four of "The Truth About Halo" arrives in this July 1985 installment, with the cover asking an urgent question: is Halo — shown center-stage in her distinctive black-and-color costume, arms raised amid swirling aura-like spheres — kidnapped, defeated, and doomed? The emphatic "Not Just Yet!" bursting from the lower right, alongside a flurry of fists and what appears to be a blade's edge, suggests the Outsiders aren't about to let that happen. Alan Davis's clean, dynamic linework makes the whole cover feel both visually playful and genuinely tense — a fine showcase for one of DC's most distinctive team books of the mid-'80s.
