Batman and Robin #6
Grant Morrison, Philip Tan, and Jonathan Glapion's Batman and Robin reaches its sixth issue with a cover by Frank Quitely that makes an immediate, unsettling impression: a flamboyantly dressed villain in pink — Flamingo — stands astride a vivid pink motorcycle, looming over the fallen forms of Batman and Robin sprawled on the ground below him. The whole scene is drenched in an eerie purple-pink haze that perfectly matches Flamingo's sinister showmanship. It's a striking 2010 chapter in this bold DC series, with Quitely's linework bringing both menace and dark theatricality to every inch of the composition.
