Part of DC's New 52 Villains Month, this issue puts Killer Croc front and center — and the cover by Patrick Gleason and Mick Gray makes an immediate impression. The massively muscled, scaly Croc roars with jaws wide open while crushing a chained figure beneath him, skulls and bones scattering through the air around him in a chaotic spray. It's a visceral, fittingly brutal showcase for one of Gotham's most fearsome predators, with interior story "Blood in the Water" written by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Francis Portela.
