About this Collection
This New 52 collection centers on the 'Death of the Family' storyline, in which a newly disfigured Joker returns to Gotham with a brutal scheme targeting Batman and everyone close to him. Scott Snyder writes and Greg Capullo pencils this arc, which ran through the main Batman title and served as a line-wide crossover event across the Bat-family books. It stands as one of the defining Joker stories of the New 52 era, pushing Bruce Wayne to his psychological limits.
