Ernie Chua's cover depicts a grim-faced Batman reeling from a cannon blast fired by a trio of thugs, while the ominous caption "Now — Batman — See — Europe — and — Die!" sets a globe-trotting, high-stakes tone. Writer David V. Reed teams with Chua and inker Frank McLaughlin for what looks like a fast-moving caper that takes the Dark Knight far from Gotham's familiar rooftops.
