Part of DC's "Line of Super-Stars," Batman #273 (March 1976) promises an international thriller with the cover tagline "The Underworld Olympics Fires 'The Bank-Shot That Baffled Batman.'" Ernie Chua's cover depicts a grim-faced Batman reeling from a cannon blast fired by a trio of thugs, while the ominous caption "Now — Batman — See — Europe — and — Die!" sets a globe-trotting, high-stakes tone.
