Batgirl #52 closes out this 2016 chapter of Barbara Gordon's adventures with a cover by Babs Tarr that perfectly captures the spirit of this era — Batgirl mid-leap across a rooftop, her auburn hair streaming behind her as she swings a grappling gun overhead against a dreamy, star-flecked purple and pink skyline. Her glowing yellow-accented costume and sneakers radiate energy and confidence, making it easy to see why this run resonated so strongly with readers. With Brenden Fletcher writing and art from Eleonora Carlini, Minkyu Jung, and colorist Serge LaPointe, "Turning the Page" sounds like exactly the kind of send-off a fan could hope for.
