Part of DC's New 52 "Gothtopia" crossover event, this March 2014 issue finds Batgirl soaring above a city skyline in a striking all-white costume, her red hair catching the wind as she swings with grappling hook in hand — a confident, almost gleeful figure against a transformed Gotham backdrop. The tagline "Different World, Same Hero!" hints at a reality where familiar things feel just a little off, and writer Gail Simone keeps Barbara Gordon at the center of it all. Alex Garner's cover art gives the whole thing a polished, kinetic energy that makes it hard to look away.
