Nick Cardy's cover composition is genuinely gripping, pitting our blue-eyed hero against an impossible choice framed by that blazing yellow sun, and the tagline "Will He Save the West — or Ruin It?" perfectly captures the roguish spirit that makes Bat Lash such a refreshing corner of DC's Western lineup. With Sergio Aragonés and Denny O'Neil on the writing side, this is a series firing on all cylinders.
