Banzai #1
This debut issue of the German-language manga anthology series Banzai! collects the first chapter of Naruto, introducing the young ninja Naruto Uzumaki, his mentor Iruka, and the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, as well as the Nine-Tailed Fox spirit sealed within him. Published by Carlsen Comics in November 2001, it marks the German premiere of Masashi Kishimoto's iconic series.
A 2001 German-language edition of Banzai #1, published by Carlsen Comics, features the story "Romance Dawn" with artwork and writing by Akira Toriyama, alongside contributions from Dorothea Überall and Letterfactory. The issue includes character appearances of Das Neunschwänzige Fuchsungeheuer, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Hokage, Der Dritte, Meister Iruka, and Naruto Uzumaki. The cover is a collaborative effort by Akira Toriyama, Eiichiro Oda, Masashi Kishimoto, Masakazu Katsura, Yoshihiro Togashi, and Isabel Kreitz.
