This debut issue of the German-language manga anthology series Banzai! collects the first chapter of Naruto, introducing the young ninja Naruto Uzumaki, his mentor Iruka, and the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, as well as the Nine-Tailed Fox spirit sealed within him. Published by Carlsen Comics in November 2001, it marks the German premiere of Masashi Kishimoto's iconic series.
