Bad Girls #2

The second chapter of DC's six-part miniseries arrives with a Darwyn Cooke cover that perfectly captures the series' breezy, stylized energy — four women caught mid-chaos around what looks like a poolside setting, money and playing cards flying through the air as a redhead flings a plaid-skirted blonde into the air while two more women look on with sly, knowing smiles. "Party Girls" is the story title, and this cover sells that premise with sharp cartoon charm and a palette drenched in cool purples and pinks. With Steve Vance writing and Christine Norrie on interior art, this 2003 series clearly knows how to make mischief look this good.
