B.P.R.D., Plague of Frogs #2
The second chapter of B.P.R.D.'s "Plague of Frogs" arc arrives with a cover that immediately commands attention — a powerfully built, shaven-headed figure bound in chains stares out from above a dimly lit industrial space, his expression grim and resolute beneath a black eye patch. Below him, split across the lower panel, a grotesque frog-creature crouches with unsettling yellow eyes locked directly on the viewer, its red-hued form hinting at something deeply sinister at work. Guy Davis's linework gives the whole image a raw, moody tension that fits perfectly within the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense's world of quiet dread and strange horrors, making this 2004 Dark Horse issue one you'll want to have in hand.
