Part of Marvel's 2015 AXIS crossover event, this second issue presents a genuinely unsettling cover by Alexander Lozano: a terrified red-haired woman clutches her handbag mid-scream as Carnage — all writhing crimson symbiote tendrils and that distinctive white-streaked face — hoists her high above a vertiginous cityscape of glass skyscrapers. Rick Spears and Germán Peralta bring their talents to a series that leans hard into the horror side of Marvel's symbiote mythology, and the Parental Advisory label here is entirely earned.
