About the series
In the midst of Marvel's Axis event, this 2014–2015 three-issue miniseries from writer Rick Spears and artist Germán Peralta zeroes in on the symbiotic serial killer, Carnage. When a reality-warping spell flips the morality of heroes and villains alike, Cletus Kasady's murderous nature is twisted into something unsettlingly heroic—or at least, a version of heroism that still involves a lot of red. It's a tight, creature-feature detour that explores what happens when the most unrepentant monster in the Marvel Universe gets a conscience, however temporary.
