Hardball steals a dart of the power blocking nanotech for the mysterious stranger and replaces it with a dud. Vance and Cloud 9 travel to Kentucky to offer their condolences about M.V.P.'s death to his family, but M.V.P. himself answers the door. The Hulk and his allies arrive on earth and start busting stuff. Iron Man arms his new Hulkbuster armor with a nanotech dart to steal the Hulk's powers, but when he tries to implement his plan, you guessed it, he uses the dud planted by Hardball. The Initiative members are assigned to crowd and damage control but decide to confront the Hulk directly.
