Avengers Forever #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe third chapter of this twelve-part Marvel epic zeroes in on a massive, green-robed figure — blue-faced and formidable — reaching a purple-gloved hand directly toward the viewer amid a backdrop of crumbling ruins and fractured architecture. The cover art by Carlos Pacheco and Jesús Merino gives the scene real physical weight, with that outstretched grasp commanding the entire composition. With Kurt Busiek and Roger Stern at the helm of "The City at the Heart of Forever," this 1999 series continues to deliver the kind of sprawling, ambitious Avengers storytelling that rewards readers who stick with it through all twelve issues.
