Avengers Academy #6 delivers a visceral, unsettling cover by Mike McKone — a massive, fang-bared purple creature looms over a young woman in a yellow-and-black costume, its clawed tentacles coiling around her as she screams in defiance against a blazing red backdrop. The contrast between her fierce resistance and the monster's overwhelming size makes for a genuinely gripping image.
