Attack #41

Charlton's long-running war anthology Attack reaches issue #41 with a striking cover by Sam Glanzman and Dick Giordano that immediately conveys the human cost of combat — exhausted, fallen soldiers sprawl across rocky ground in the foreground while a tank and a lone figure press forward through billowing flames behind them. The cover text asks pointedly whether these men were cowardly or simply suffering from "Fatigue," setting a tone more thoughtful than typical battlefield bravado.
