Charlton's war anthology swoops into high-altitude drama with this 1973 issue, its Tom Sutton cover dropping readers straight into a white-knuckle biplane dogfight. A red German aircraft bearing Iron Cross markings fills the upper half of the composition, while a gunner below — seen from a vertiginous over-the-shoulder angle — mans a rear-mounted machine gun with a patchwork landscape burning far beneath. Joe Gill and Jack Keller deliver the interior action promised by that breathless tagline, "Where the Action Is!" — and at twenty cents, Attack #10 was serving up serious wartime thrills.
