Atom the Cat uses his magic to make fish disappear, transforming them into kittens instead. When a wizard and his helpers attempt to capture Atom to steal his magic for a publicity stunt, Atom turns the tables and uses his magic powers against them, causing them to flee in defeat. In a second story, "Atom the Cat and His Helpers," a severe storm knocks out electric wires across Metropolis, and Atom works to restore power to the city using his magical abilities before it's too late.
