In "Som fågel Fenix ur askan," the X-Men find themselves in unfamiliar territory when their shuttle crash-lands in Jamaica Bay, setting off a transformation that leaves Jean emerging from the wreckage as the Phoenix. To help her recover, Professor X sends the team—except Cyclops—on a retreat to Scotland, where Banshee has recently inherited his family’s ancestral castle. The X-Men arrive to discover the estate already occupied by Sean’s cousin Tom and his friend Juggy, setting the stage for an uneasy reunion of old and new.

In "Magneto," the X-Men arrive at Muir Island expecting a routine check-in, only to find Eric the Red has restored Magneto to full adulthood—much to the dismay of Maggie, who’s clearly not thrilled with the return of the man who once tried to reshape the world. With tensions already high and old wounds stirring, the team must navigate a volatile situation where past betrayals and present power shifts threaten to unravel everything.
