In Astonishing X-Men #50, the team tracks down an abandoned prison in search of the mind behind the Marauders' actions, uncovering chilling clues in the silence of the ruins. As tensions rise, Northstar’s proposal to Kyle is met with hesitation—only for Kyle to vanish, dragging Northstar into a trap where his former teammates, now eerily controlled, stand between him and the truth. Written by Marjorie Liu and illustrated by Mike Perkins, with colors by Andy Troy and letters by VC's Joe Caramagna, this pivotal issue unfolds with sharp suspense and emotional weight, all wrapped in a striking cover by Dustin Weaver.
