Ascension #5

Issue five of Image's Ascension delivers one of the series' most striking cover presentations, courtesy of Dave Finch and Batt. A silver-skinned warrior woman dominates the composition — adorned in sleek armored plating, clutching a long sword and radiating a faint energy from her palm — all framed within a massive serpentine ring etched with runic symbols and a glowing celestial orb behind her. The overall effect is moody and mythic, perfectly capturing the dark fantasy ambiance that made this Top Cow/Image title stand out on shelves in 1998.
