Archie's TV Laugh-Out #85

Right at the height of the early-1980s video game craze, this issue of Archie's TV Laugh-Out captures the moment perfectly: the cover shows a grinning Archie and a nerdy pal looking on as Veronica and Betty face off at an arcade cabinet called "Capturing Archie," with the scoreboard already showing Veronica edging ahead at 235 to Betty's 300. The banner above them cheerfully announces it's "a special video game I designed for Betty and Veronica!" — a wonderfully on-brand gag brought to life by cover artist Stan G. Also featured along the top are Sabrina and the Pussycats, rounding out a roster that promises plenty of variety inside from writer/artist Dexter Taylor and the rest of the creative team.
