Archie's TV Laugh-Out #11

Hitting the slopes in style, this 1972 Giant Series entry finds Archie, Veronica, and Betty gearing up for some winter fun outside a ski shop, while Jughead crouches to buckle his skis — all decked out in their grooviest cold-weather gear. The cover gag lands perfectly as Archie's asked what clothes make him look best and he enthusiastically answers "Hot pants on girls!" — very much a product of its era. Starring Sabrina the Teen-Age Witch and packed with the cheerful Riverdale energy that made this series a fun spin-off read, issue #11 is a charming 25-cent snapshot of early-'70s Archie comics at their most colorfully carefree.
