Archie's Pals 'n' Gals #166
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis November 1983 issue of Archie's Pals 'n' Gals delivers a charming three-panel cover gag by Dan DeCarlo in which a character proudly shows off a small household robot — boasting it delivers mail, cleans, guards the home, and even does homework — while Archie and a pal go from thoroughly unimpressed ("Big deal!" / "Yawn!") to absolutely electrified at the mention of homework help. By the final panel, both boys are sprinting after the robot with cash in hand, shouting "I'll buy it! I'll double his offer!" It's a perfectly timed comedic strip that captures the easygoing, relatable humor that has always made this series a pleasure to pick up.
