Archie's Pals 'n' Gals #108
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis breezy 1976 entry in Archie's long-running ensemble series captures the gang's good-natured rivalry in two comic-strip panels: the top scene shows Veronica confidently strolling through a park and declaring "In nature's balance, there's a male for every female!" — complete with amorous woodland creatures and floating hearts to illustrate her point — while the bottom panel reveals Betty, surrounded by a crowd of boys fawning over Ronnie, dryly wishing she'd "stop upsetting nature's balance." Stan Goldberg's cover pencils give the whole thing that warm, sun-soaked 1970s charm, from the bell-bottomed fashions to the lively park setting packed with teens. A fun snapshot of Riverdale's eternal social comedy.
