This breezy 1976 entry in Archie's long-running ensemble series captures the gang's good-natured rivalry in two comic-strip panels: the top scene shows Veronica confidently strolling through a park and declaring "In nature's balance, there's a male for every female!" — complete with amorous woodland creatures and floating hearts to illustrate her point — while the bottom panel reveals Betty, surrounded by a crowd of boys fawning over Ronnie, dryly wishing she'd "stop upsetting nature's balance."
