Archie's Pal Jughead Comics #88

Jughead's legendary appetite meets school-day practicality in this January 1997 issue, where cover artists Stan Goldberg and Mike Esposito capture everyone's favorite crown-wearing food enthusiast standing at a locker crammed floor-to-ceiling with sausage links, cupcakes, donuts, a sub sandwich, and more — leaving zero room for actual books. Archie and a blonde classmate look on as Jughead complains about locker space, which is either completely sincere or the most inspired misdirection in Riverdale history. It's a warm, funny snapshot of the Archie universe at its most cheerfully absurd.
