Archie's Pal Jughead Comics #54
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeStan Goldberg and Henry Scarpelli deliver a wonderfully chaotic winter scene on this March 1994 issue, where Jughead's shaggy sheepdog Hot Dog has gleefully grabbed a hockey stick right off the rink — much to the alarm of a bewildered Jughead and an agitated opposing player in a "Killers" jersey charging from the goal. The speech bubble says it all: "Hot Dog, THAT isn't the stick I threw!" — setting up the kind of warm, goofy humor that makes this series such a treat. There's even a tease for a "Baby Tales" story inside and a "Coming Soon: Reggie's Revenge" preview, making this a nicely packed installment of Riverdale's most endearingly laid-back character.
