Archie's Pal Jughead Comics #185

Dec 2007 · Archie · 2.25 USD
“All I Can Stand”

In "All I Can Stand," Jughead takes on a surprisingly serious challenge: guarding a special date pin for Archie while wearing an English palace guard hat, all to win a bet with Reggie over who can stand still the longest. With his usual appetite for absurdity, Jughead commits to the role with unexpected dedication—until Archie needs the pin back, and the real test of patience begins. Written by Craig Boldman and illustrated by Rex Lindsey (with full art and coloring by Lindsey), this 2007 issue captures the classic charm of Riverdale with a perfectly straight-faced twist, all under a cover by Rex W. Lindsey.

Jughead brings an English palace guard hat to school. When Reggie bets Jughead a dinner of bangers and mash that Jughead can't stand still like those guards, Jughead takes the bet. Jughead also agrees to guard a special date pin for Archie. But when Archie desperately needs the pin back, a stoic Jughead remains undistracted from his mission.
