Archie's Pal Jughead #10

In "To Sea or Not To Sea," Jughead’s usual lack of coordination takes a turn when Mr. Lodge invites him to row the boat at the Lodge’s bungalow—only for Jughead’s clumsy antics to accidentally land a swordfish, with Mr. Lodge taking all the credit. The story unfolds with classic 1952 humor, capturing the misadventures of Archie’s pal as he stumbles through a fishing trip that’s more about chaos than catch.

In "Eye Openers," Jughead’s habit of dozing off in class prompts Miss Grundy to have his eyes checked—only for him to return with a pair of glasses featuring wide-open eyes painted on the lenses. Despite the novelty, Jughead still can’t stay awake, leaving his teacher baffled and his classmates amused.

In "Miss Under-Stood," Jughead finds himself unexpectedly enlisted to help Betty pick out a new look—complete with hair styles and dress choices—before a trip to the beauty parlor. With Archie’s encouragement, Jughead tries to offer his honest opinion, but Betty’s worried she’ll look like she’s heading straight to the salon, not out for a good time.

In "The Lost Loot," Jughead takes his role in the school play a little too seriously, treating his prop bag of play money like the real deal—until Principal Weatherbee mistakes it for a robbery and calls the cops. The next day, Archie and Jughead flip through the paper, amused by the headline that claims the police had to defend the principal from a gang of squirt-gun-wielding thugs.
