Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica #30
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA delightful slice of Riverdale humor from 1957, this cover finds Betty and Veronica at the local bank, where Veronica poses the playful question "Tell me! Do I draw any interest in this bank?" — and the flustered male customers, including a letterman-jacketed Archie, make it very clear the answer is a resounding yes. Betty looks on with characteristic good humor while the bank teller confirms the obvious, making for a charming visual gag that captures the lighthearted rivalry and appeal of Archie's two favorite girls at their most fun.

Veronica tells Archie and Reggie that she will only date boys who are on the baseball team so they both try out but Reggie sabotages Archie's efforts so that he doesn't make the team. Veronica is thrilled that Archie didn't make the team because Betty told her that the baseball coach is so strict that he doesn't allow players to go on dates or to the movies and they have to be home by 8 pm every night.
