Archie & Friends #88
The cover by Rex Lindsey says it all — a gleaming gold-and-black robot is quite literally booting a red-jacketed teen right out the door while an older gentleman with a walkie-talkie and a dark-haired girl look on in amused (or startled) surprise, under a full moon glowing behind the house. The speech bubble delivers the punchline perfectly: "I had no idea these robots could be so useful!" This 2005 issue of Archie & Friends teases "The Rad Robot" with exactly the kind of cheerful, sight-gag humor that makes this series such an easy pick-up for readers of any age.
