The sunny, rainbow-swirled cover of this 1977 digest captures Reggie snapping photos of Archie and a girl cuddled on a couch, hearts floating in the air while Reggie laments having used up a whole roll of film — a perfectly Riverdale setup full of mischief and romantic chaos. Surrounding that central scene, the cover by Dan DeCarlo is packed with the entire Archie gang in a colorful swirl of slapstick vignettes. Packed with stories, puzzles, and fun in full color, it's a great snapshot of everything that made the digest format such an appealing package for Archie fans.

The boys in the school are wearing monster masks as a fad. One of the girls seems frightened and Archie pursues her into a blind alley and bullies her into making a date with him. Betty and Veronica are appalled and tell the girl she doesn't have to keep the date. She replies that "some masks are more obvious than others," while removing hers.
