Archie Archives #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis hardcover collection from Dark Horse's Archie Archives series reprints classic Archie tales from the early 1940s, including the title story 'The Double Date.' Featuring the beloved Riverdale gang—Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, and more—alongside appearances by superheroes The Black Hood and The Shield, this volume captures the golden-age charm and humor that defined Archie Comics' early years.
"Christmas Cheers" brings a delightfully chaotic holiday twist to Riverdale’s usual antics, with Archie facing a case of mistaken identity after a Friday the 13th punch from Reggie sends him home with a bruise. While Jughead spins a tale about a toothache to Miss Grundy, the misunderstanding snowballs—leading to a hospital visit that nearly ends in surgery when Archie accidentally climbs into another patient’s bed. Written by Ed Goggin and brought to life with classic charm by artists Harry Sahle and Janice Valleau, this festive tale is a must-read for fans of Archie’s offbeat humor. Cover by Harry Sahle.
