Archie and Me #40

Mr. Weatherbee is putting a cheerful spin on a very familiar situation — pointing Archie toward a Detention Room door bearing a sign reading "Reserved for Archie Andrews," calling it a status symbol and a private detention room all his own. Archie looks appropriately sheepish while Reggie and Betty look on from the foreground, clearly entertained by the whole spectacle. This February 1971 issue of Archie and Me captures the warm, good-natured humor that made the Riverdale gang such enduring company.
