Archie and Me #23
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis "Summer Camp Issue" of Archie and Me from 1968 puts Archie and a heavyset camp counselor front and center around a crackling campfire, surrounded by rows of campers in matching red uniforms beneath a moonlit mountain sky. When asked what he misses most about civilization, Archie's answer — "Yes! A can opener!" — says everything, as he cheerfully holds up a can of beans while several more sit unopened by the fire. Joe Edwards handles every aspect of this one, and the result is a warm, gag-driven cover that captures the breezy humor the series delivered so reliably in the late '60s.
