Archie #646
Archie's grinning face takes center stage as the full moon itself in this delightfully offbeat 2013 issue, with Betty, Veronica, and Jughead all suited up in sleek spacesuits and floating through a starfield complete with Saturn glowing in the background. The space-age setup for "A Really Hot Date!" promises the kind of cheerful, anything-goes fun that has always made this series a joy. Cover art by Gisèle Lagacé gives the whole scene a bright, polished charm that fits right in alongside the Riverdale gang's cosmic adventure.

Thousands of years ago the Andromeda family and their friends lived on Mars until Archie's science experiment made the whole planet too hot for habitation. The Martians left to find a better planet, but sent the Andromeda family to Earth (which was then in its ice age) as punishment.
