A school hallway gets a fresh coat of comedy in this 2005 Archie Comics issue, where a painter tests swatches of orange and rust on the Detention room door while a puzzled administrator looks on — and a bewildered Archie in his signature "R" letterman jacket arrives just in time to hear the speech bubble suggestion that he should weigh in on the color choice. Stan Goldberg's pencils and Bob Smith's inks give the scene that warm, breezy charm that makes Riverdale feel like the most entertaining hallway in any school. With Kathleen Webb's story "Pickin' a Perfect Picnic Place" waiting inside, this is a cheerful slice of classic Archie fun.
