Archie Andrews is putting his best foot forward — literally — on this cheerful June 2000 cover by Stan Goldberg, where he's attempting to dance with a curly-haired partner at a dancing school, his mismatched black-and-white shoes drawing an amused comment from her. A footstep diagram poster on the wall hints at exactly where Archie picked up his unconventional technique, and the whole scene has that warm, laugh-out-loud energy that made this series a staple of spinner racks.
