Archie #393 finds Riverdale's favorite redhead proudly announcing that his comic is now printed on 100% recycled paper — a genuinely fun, eco-conscious moment that gives Betty, Veronica, and Jughead plenty of room to rib him with a perfectly timed comeback right on the cover. Dan DeCarlo and Alison Flood deliver a cheerful, sun-drenched scene that captures the gang's easy chemistry beautifully. It's a charming November 1991 slice of Archie at his most enthusiastic, paired inside with the Hal Smith–penned story "Van Goof" brought to life by Stan Goldberg's ever-appealing linework.
