“Wedded Blitz”

In "Wedded Blitz," Archie and Veronica find themselves caught in a whirlwind of mistaken identity when Mr. Lodge and Smithers panic upon believing they’re married. To set things right, Archie and Ronnie head to a cabin with Mrs. Lodge, and in a moment of comedic clarity, Archie sends a telegram to calm Mr. Lodge’s nerves—only to leave the situation hilariously unresolved. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Chic Stone, with colors by Barry Grossman and letters by Bill Yoshida, the cover by Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick captures the chaos perfectly.
