“A House Is a Home”

In "A House Is a Home," Mr. Weatherbee's hopes for a thriving rubber plant hinge on a mysterious new fertilizer called "Jiffy-Gro"—but when Archie's mishap destroys the original, Moose rushes to the flower shop for a replacement. What arrives is a plant so enormous it dwarfs the classroom, leaving Mr. Weatherbee convinced the miracle formula is real. Art by Bob Bolling, with inks by Mario Acquaviva, and a cover by Samm Schwartz.

Mr. Weatherbee adds some "Jiffy-Gro" to his rubber plant, hoping it will grow. But when Archie accidentally destroys the plant, he sends Moose to the flower shop to get a replacement. Moose does so, but the one he gets is twice the size of the original, and Mr. Weatherbee believes the "Jiffy-Gro" plant food really works wonders.
