Arak / Son of Thunder #41
In "Sailing to Dilmun," Arak and his companions set out on a perilous voyage to find his lost homeland, only to be thrown into chaos when a storm sweeps Valda overboard. When they reach an island, Arak and Satyricus plunge into a deadly spectacle where Valda fights a monstrous bull in an arena—only to discover the high priestess ruling the city is none other than Arak’s long-time enemy, Angelica. Written by Roy and Dann Thomas and illustrated with striking detail by Tony DeZuniga, with colors by Adrienne Roy and letters by L. Lois Buhalis, this 1985 DC adventure blends myth and mystery in a tale that deepens Arak’s journey with a shocking twist. The cover, also by DeZuniga, captures the moment of confrontation with haunting intensity.
