Aquaman Giant #1
In "Double-Edged," Mera, still healing from past wounds, faces a deadly assault in Amnesty Bay—forced to rely on her forgotten Xebel training to survive. As she suspects Corum Rath is behind the attack, she pushes the Justice League and the U.S. government to stay out of Atlantis, where Aquaman is leading a rebellion to install her as queen. Meanwhile, Ocean Master has quietly built a new life on the surface, far from the undersea conflict. Written by Dan Abnett and illustrated by Lan Medina, with inks by Richard Friend, colors by Veronica Gandini, and letters by Simon Bowland, the cover by Joshua Middleton captures the tension of a world teetering between war and peace.
