Aquaman and Batman find themselves trapped together beneath the waves in this 1978 DC adventure, ensnared in a massive net while a menacing villain gloats that their deaths will launch his domination of the world. Jim Aparo's cover makes the threat vivid and immediate — an armored figure commands the scene from the lower left as sharks circle ominously in the background, and the cover boldly announces the villain responsible: Kobra, "the deadliest man alive." With David Michelinie scripting and Don Newton on interior art, "The Armageddon Conspiracy" promises a genuinely high-stakes team-up between the King of the Seas and the Dark Knight.
