In "El Foso. Conclusión," Aquaman and Mera descend into a volcanic shaft, using ropes to navigate the dark depths, only to uncover a long-buried Atlantean ship predating the fall of Atlantis. As they explore its wreckage, they discover a hidden chamber housing a pair of ancient creatures—king and queen—and mysterious cocoons containing trapped individuals. The fate of the ship’s crew remains shrouded in mystery, and the heroes must make a desperate choice to seal the chamber, leaving the truth buried. Written by Geoff Johns and Mauricio Matamoros, with art by Ivan Reis and inks by Joe Prado and Eber Ferreira, the issue features a striking cover by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado.

Aquaman y Mera descienden por un respiradero volcánico utilizando rapes para iluminar su camino; descubren una nave destrozada atlante que ha estado allí durante siglos, anterior al hundimiento de la Atlántida. Descubren una grieta en el casco, deducen que la fosa se alimentaban de la tripulación del buque. Ahí encuentran una habitación con dos grandes criaturas en el interior,el rey y la reina de las criaturas, y capullos con las personas capturadas en el interior. Mera empuja la pared que contiene los capullos a la superficie. Aquaman empuja una piedra grande a la respiradero, sellándolo.
