Aquaman #29
Part of the DC Universe Rebirth "Underworld" arc, Aquaman #29 arrives in December 2017 with a cover by Stjepan Šejić that crackles with underwater tension. Mera and a smirking, magic-charged Tempest clash in a surge of glowing energy above, while a restrained Aquaman strains against armored guards below — the cover copy warning that Mera and Tempest must break through, or Aquaman's fate is sealed. Dan Abnett scripts and Šejić handles every artistic duty inside, promising the same kinetic, richly rendered undersea drama on full display here.
