In "null," Aquaman stands before the United Nations, hailed as a hero who averted war between the surface world and Atlantis—now poised to join the global community. But his moment of triumph is shattered when a new enemy, Warhead, emerges, wielding telepathic control to manipulate others and draw Aquaman into a deadly trap.

In "null," Aquaman encounters Warhead, a cybernetic being whose telepathic abilities were once weaponized for war. After resisting orders to kill innocents and fleeing his creators, Warhead seeks refuge and understanding from Aquaman, drawn to his own telepathic connection to the sea and his independence from command. As Warhead grapples with the fear of being controlled again, he begins to see Atlantis not just as a kingdom, but as a potential sanctuary — one he may need to claim to stay free.

In "null," Arthur and Mera are pulled into a tense alliance with the Aquamarines—former enemies who once tried to kill Arthur—to investigate a U.S. Navy base gone silent. The mission takes them to the site of the original "Strange Water" outbreak, where the source of the mysterious Dead Water is now suspected to be something far more dangerous than a natural anomaly.
