In "H2.0 Part One," Aquaman and Mera are pulled into a tense alliance with the Aquamarines—former enemies who once tried to kill Arthur—to investigate a mysterious U.S. Navy base gone silent. The mission takes them to the source of the strange, mutagenic "Strange Water" that birthed the deadly Dead Water, setting the stage for a high-stakes underwater mystery. Written by Dan Abnett and illustrated by Philippe Briones, with colors by Gabe Eltaeb and letters by Pat Brosseau, the issue features a cover by Brad Walker and Andrew Hennessy.
